Allied International Filmmakers (AIF) is an incorporated private share-based holding company established in the Bahamas. We are also represented in Beverly Hills, Cape Town and London.

Our principal purpose and business being to act as a holding company to create theatrical motion pictures with our associated Alliance production companies. As such we plan to develop and produce quality general entertainment films under the G or PG rating. Therefore the objectives of AIF are as follows:

There is an international demand for the above subject matter that mainly caters to family entertainment.

The companies within the Alliance plan to initially make four movies featuring drama, comedy and family themes over the next five years all budgeted in the region of $10-15m, the first being Dud Diamonds.

We are actively exploring an exciting mix of new and old projects. Our aim is to expand this portfolio through acquisition of established film production and assorted media companies, especially those short on vision and resources. We welcome approaches from interested parties to explore projects of mutual interest. Being based in the Bahamas we offer innovative, tax efficient solutions to most projects.
Overview

The purpose of setting up the head office in the Bahamas is to enable investors to freely participate in movie projects and enjoy the benefits of tax-free returns. Firstly, as shareholders in the holding company and secondly, from accrued worldwide film revenues from movies and associated media companies. All worldwide revenues are repatriated back to the holding company where dividends are declared and paid tax-free.

The Bahamas is recognised as a major international financial centre with leadership in a number of areas. As an international banking centre, the world’s leading domicile for offshore hedge funds, the second largest captive insurance centre and a world leader in structured finance, the jurisdiction stands as the only offshore international financial centre to possess such breadth and depth in financial services.

 

The jurisdiction has no direct personal, corporate or property taxes and we find that private and institutional investors are attracted to the Bahamas because of its professional infrastructure, business friendly approach, flexibility, an English common law framework, stability, well-regulated regime and tax neutrality.
